It was like a never ending cycle of monotonous struggle.
Waking up confused and fearful about how to make ends meet.
Dreading the need to fake that everything was okay when I felt so yuck about being me.
I'd race to work, pour all my energy into it, get minimal rewards, leave feeling depleted then return home too tired and anxious to leave the house.
