When we ask and allow guardian angels and ancestors to present themselves into our lives, they can support us in challenging times.
Walking up to the Mt Gravatt lookout and through the Toohey Forest this morning to move my body and sort out the mind tangles.
You soon get over a heaving heart when you are walking uphill to reach the top.
This a beautiful whakatauki / proverb that I remembered on my walk...
Hoki atu ki tōu maunga kia purea ai e koe ki ngā hau o Tāwhirimātea
"Return to your mountain to be cleansed by the winds of Tāwhirimātea"
It is deeply healing and grounding in times of internal chaos to speak with the spirits whistling around you or to listen to their wisdom to guide you through.
I have a grateful heart.
